Job Responsibilities:
Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including food prep, cooking, and plating.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
Assist with creating and testing new menu items, infusing creativity while staying true to the restaurant’s culinary style.
Manage ingredient preparation, stock rotation, and inventory, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Oversee and train kitchen staff on procedures and cooking techniques, maintaining an organized and smooth workflow.
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring a clean and compliant kitchen.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and service teams to ensure timely and accurate orders.
Requirements:
Culinary degree or relevant experience in a professional kitchen, preferably with Asian or fusion cuisine.
Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen best practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
