Job Description

• Child Supervision & Care :
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under care at all times.
• Provide individualized attention and care to each child based on their needs.
• Supervise children during daily activities, including playtime, nap time, and meals.
• Educational Development :
• Use play-based methods to teach social skills, motor skills, language development, and other fundamental academic skills.
• Foster emotional, social, and physical development in children through a combination of structured and unstructured activities.
• Behavioral Guidance :
• Establish clear, consistent rules and routines, providing positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior.
• Address any behavioral concerns and communicate with parents about challenges or progress.
• Communication :
• Maintain open and positive communication with parents/guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns.
• Document and report observations of children's progress and behavior.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a harmonious and supportive learning environment.
• Classroom Environment Management :
• Ensure the classroom and learning spaces are safe, clean, and organized.
• Arrange classroom materials and learning tools to support curriculum objectives.
• Plan and manage daily schedules, including transitions between activities to ensure smooth flow.
• Health & Safety Compliance :
• Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of the children.
• Administer first aid when necessary and maintain up-to-date records on children's health and attendance.
• Stay informed about local regulations, licensing, and safety guidelines.
• Professional Development :
• Attend ongoing training and workshops to stay updated on child development and teaching best practices.
• Participate in team meetings, curriculum planning, and parent-teacher conferences.
• Demonstrate professionalism in interactions with staff, parents, and children.
• Documentation & Record Keeping :
• Maintain detailed records for each child, including attendance, health status, developmental milestones, and incident reports.
• Ensure that all required documentation complies with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaboration with Team :
• Work closely with other teachers, daycare staff, and administrators to ensure the delivery of a comprehensive and engaging program.
• Participate in team activities, special events, and field trips to support the overall growth of the daycare.
• Promote Inclusion & Diversity :
• Create an inclusive environment where children of all backgrounds, abilities, and cultures feel respected and valued.
• Plan activities that celebrate diversity and encourage respect for differences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
