  • Responsible for application integration activities for monitoring tools using tools such as DataDog.
  • Development and transaction monitoring and able to create rules within Datadog and Stored Procedures at the DB side Develop deep insight into application and service performance Partner with Product,
  • Operations and infrastructure teams around Datadog to understand how the applications are deployed so we can effectively scale, evolve and support a broad range of use cases to deploy Datadog.
  • Create high-scale, highly-performant interactive visualisations (graphs, maps, charts) that help Operations better understand the story and health of our infrastructure.
  • Employ expertise in performance monitoring tool alerts, dashboards, and data trend analysis in a monitoring tool to provides Always On alerting, metrics visualisation, logs, and application tracing.
  • Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
  • Provide on-the-job training to application POCs and event management.
  • Deploy a new feature to production, progressively rolling it out with feature flags.
  • Promote strong quality control practices through continuous integration and continuous deployment implementations using tools such as Sonar Identify opportunities and implement improvements in monitoring processes.


Requirements

  • Knowledge working with Windows, Linux, networking and storage
  • Knowledge with DataDog and similar Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tool.
  • Familiarity with APM and service telemetry environments Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools. Knowledge of DevOps philosophies, standards, and CI/CD best practices.
  • Strong problem solving, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well on collaborative, cross-functional teams.
