Database Design and Development: o Design, develop, and implement database solutions based on business requirements. o Create and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, and views. o Develop and optimize stored procedures, triggers, and functions. 2. Performance Tuning and Optimization: o Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient query execution. o Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize SQL queries. o Implement indexing strategies for improved database performance. 3. Data Security and Integrity: o Implement and maintain data security measures, including access controls and encryption. o Ensure data integrity through proper normalization and validation techniques. o Perform regular data quality checks and implement data cleansing processes. 4. Database Maintenance: o Perform routine backups and recovery procedures to safeguard data. o Plan and execute database patching and upgrades. o Monitor and manage database capacity to meet current and future requirements. 5. Collaboration and Documentation: o Collaborate with application developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to integrate database solutions into overall system architecture. o Document database design, configurations, and processes. o Provide technical support and guidance to other team members. 6. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: o Investigate and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner. o Implement proactive measures to identify and address potential problems.



###### Qualifications and Education Requirements:


Qualifications: o Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. o Proven experience as a Database Developer or similar role. o Proficient in SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server). o Proficient in cloud database services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS). o Strong understanding of database design principles and normalization. o Experience with performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting. o Knowledge of data security best practices and principles. o Familiarity with database backup and recovery procedures. o Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Skills: o Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). o Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and techniques. o Programming skills in languages such as Python, Java.
