Let\'s be #BrilliantTogether ISS Governance India is actively hiring a Database Developer: BI-SQL Server for Mumbai (Goregaon East) location. Overview Purpose, mastery and autonomy! We provide all three at ISS where we are building state of the art voting and analytical platforms, to help shareholder make key corporate decisions around the world. We are currently seeking a T-SQL programmer to join our development team and help design, develop, and release optimal solutions to meet business needs for new services and enhancements. Responsibilities Play an active role in a global agile team working on complex SSRS/SSIS reporting with large databases and batch processing involving large numbers of transactions. Work with web application team members to design and develop optimal database solutions that allow reporting and processing of large number of transactions in seconds. Responsible for all phases of software development process from requirements analysis, estimation, design, development, testing, defect management and help operations/IT teams. Study current reports/queries and help redesign and refactor them to improve performance, stability, and scale. Qualifications Bachelor/Master\'s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 2+ years of hands on experience of T-SQL development covering full SDLC. Proficient in T-SQL programming. Proficient in Microsoft SSMS. Proficient in Microsoft SSRS. Good understanding of Microsoft SQL internals. Good understanding of performance management and transactional processing. Proficient in troubleshooting of SQL performance issues. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Good to have Experience in Microsoft SSIS. Experience designing, developing, and enhancing SQL database for WEB applications. Understanding of query plan and using SQL tools (Live Query Statistics/Database Engine Tuning Advisor) to analyze/improve it. Experience with processing of large data sets.
