PaywithRing is a \'Made in India\' online Instant Credit Platform operated by OnEMi Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd with an aim to provide their coveted \'PaywithRing Limit\' product to their customers across India. PaywithRing is conceptualized to provide instant credit facilities to its customers. It also allows the customer to walk in at any merchant store which accepts payments from UPI apps like BHIM, PhonePe, Paytm, Freecharge, Mobikwik, Axis Pay, Jio Pay, etc. This revolutionary product aptly named \'PaywithRing Limit\' enables the customer to buy their favorite products at any merchant store of their choice using the PaywithRing Credit Line to be repaid as per the stipulated time period. Being 100% digital, PaywithRing makes it easier for customers to scan QR code at their preferred merchant stores. PaywithRing is also a Great Place to Work certified company The MySQL Database Administrator is responsible for the management of MySQL database systems, including database design, implementation, optimization, security, and performance tuning. They work closely with development teams and other stakeholders to ensure the efficient operation of MySQL databases. Design and create efficient and normalized database schemas to meet the requirements of applications and systems Install, configure, and set up MySQL database servers, ensuring high availability and data redundancy. Develop and maintain processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) into MySQL databases Monitor, diagnose, and optimize database performance to ensure responsive and efficient query processing Implement and manage database security measures, including user access controls, encryption, and data masking Establish and maintain database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability Analyze and optimize SQL queries and database indexes for improved performance Implement database monitoring tools and alerting systems to proactively identify and address issues. Forecast and plan for database storage and resource requirements to accommodate future growth Ensure database compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards, and support audit requirements Expertise & Skills Required 6+ years of in-depth experience in MySQL database administration Familiarity with AWS environment, RDS for MySQL is a big plus Shell scripting, or any other automation tool Strong understanding of database objects and their behavior - indexes, views, triggers Strong understanding of MySQL Replication Proficiency with backup and recovery methods Proficiency in query optimizations by analyzing slow query logs, table collations, data type, etc. Active monitoring and alert mechanism for any anomalies on the Production Database Manage access control on the database Understanding of load balancing and query routing tools such as HA Proxy for MySQL Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors Identify and automate various tasks coming in from the Business and Products teams Bonus: Snowflake, Tableau, Informatica, MongoDB & other ETL/Bigdata tools
