Roles and Responsibilities:\xe2\x80\xaf \xc3\x98 Any Graduate with 6-10 years in IT Domain as Database Administrator. \xc3\x98 Should have strong knowledge in Omni Plus & Omni Trade. \xc3\x98 DB2 Database Administration, implementation, and maintenance. \xc3\x98 Enforce environment standards like object naming, security, backup and recovery and database administration. \xc3\x98 Strong working knowledge of the DB2 Utility suite. \xc3\x98 Ensure 24/7 availability and performance of application databases, including on-call support. \xc3\x98 Resolve database performance, capacity and other database related issues. \xc3\x98 Manage database backup and recovery. \xc3\x98 Prepare, maintain and execute disaster recovery plans. \xc3\x98 Troubleshoot application database issues. \xc3\x98 Oversee, and optimize all database maintenance (i.e. update statistics, etc) and backup processes. \xc3\x98 Understanding of ITIL Change/Incident management.
