Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with over 4 years of hands-on experience in managing, optimizing, and maintaining databases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of the databases, and will work closely with the development team to ensure data consistency and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, install, configure, and maintain databases for production, development, and testing environments.

Monitor and optimize database performance, security, backup, and recovery processes.

Implement and manage database backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.

Work closely with developers to optimize SQL queries and improve database performance.

Perform regular database maintenance tasks including indexing, performance tuning, and upgrades.

Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.

Maintain database security by implementing best practices in user access controls and encryption.

Ensure data integrity and consistency across all databases.

Manage database capacity planning and scaling requirements.

Provide database support for application development and deployment.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB).

Proven experience with database administration, backup, and recovery processes.

Proficient in SQL and performance tuning.

Familiarity with database security practices and data encryption.

Experience with database replication, clustering, and high availability solutions.

Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation of database tasks.

Ability to work with large-scale database environments.

Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work under pressure.

Good understanding of data models and database design principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud-based database solutions such as AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, or Azure SQL.

Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes for database management.

Certifications in database management or administration (e.g., Oracle DBA, Microsoft Certified DBA, etc.).

Experience: Minimum 4 years

Salary: 20 lakhs to 22 lakhs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?2,000,000.00 - ?2,200,000.00 per year
