Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Database Administrator for NBCC Bhavan in New Delhi. The Database Administrator will be responsible for database administration, database design, troubleshooting, replication, and ensuring the efficient performance of databases.Tasks
- Design, implement, and maintain database systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and enforce database management policies and procedures to enhance data security and integrity.
- Perform regular database backups, recovery operations, and conduct routine tests to ensure data availability.
- Collaborate with software developers and system administrators to optimize queries and database structures.
- Monitor database performance metrics and troubleshoot issues to provide timely resolutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven 2+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, with expertise in database management and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of database languages such as SQL, PL/SQL, and experience with various database management systems.
- Ability to ensure data integrity, security, and availability by implementing best practices and policies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
