Job Overview

Rosmerta Technologies Limited is seeking a Mid-Level Database Administrator to join our team in Gurgaon. This is a full-time position designed for professionals with up to 6 years of experience. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing our databases, playing a crucial role in supporting our mission to digitize and centralize road safety solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience with MySQL (Mandatory skill), Microsoft SQL Server (Mandatory skill), and PostgreSQL (Mandatory skill) to ensure effective database management. Strong proficiency in SQL for optimizing and maintaining high-performance database systems. Experience with Database Performance Tuning to enhance the efficiency and speed of database operations. Knowledge of Oracle Database Management to administer and support Oracle-based systems. Familiarity with NoSQL Databases to manage unstructured data and improve data retrieval processes. Competence in Data Backup and Recovery to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity. Ability to implement security measures for data protection and ensure compliance with industry standards. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage and maintain multiple database environments to ensure data integrity and availability. Implement database performance monitoring and optimization techniques to enhance system efficiency. Conduct regular data backup operations and disaster recovery planning to ensure data resilience. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement scalable database solutions. Monitor database security and address vulnerabilities to protect against unauthorized access. Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime. Create and maintain documentation related to database configurations, processes, and procedures. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in database systems to recommend improvements.
