This is a hands-on role where your feel for the interaction between a system and its environment will be invaluable to every one of your clients.There are two halves to this role: First, contributing to current projects where you analyse problems and tech issues, offer solutions, and test, modify, automate, and integrate systems. And second, long-range strategic planning of IT infrastructure and operational execution. This role isnt specific to any one platform, so youll need a good feel for all of them. And because of this, youll experience variety and growth at Kyndryl that you wont find anywhere else.Youll be involved early to offer solutions, help decide whether something can be done, and identify the technical and timeline risks up front. Trust us, that wont be an issue.Responsibilities includes configuring and maintaining HADR (Primary, Standby database) for production database for Take over, fail over activating the standby to primary for zero data loss. Performance tuning using db2advis and db2expln tools and Troubleshooting db performance related issues using MONREPORT module reports taking Snapshot, db2diag, db2pd,db2top and Troubleshooting db2 errors and contacting IBM PMR support for bug fixes. Drive the L1 engineers to incident closure. Ensure defined resolution SLAs are. Review the incidents in the shift with the L3 engineer at end of shift. Suggest remedial measures to bring down the number of incidents recorded and ensure the shift handover report is handed over to the L2 engineer of the next shift and monitor and audit the performance of the L1 engineers periodically.Your Future at KyndrylEvery position at Kyndryl offers a way forward to grow your career, from Junior Administrator to Architect. • Administrating db2 database on UNIX, LINUX,WINDOWS as per the requirement and Configuring and maintaining HADR (Primary ,Standby database) for production database for Take over, Fail over activating the standby to primary for zero data loss
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture in public cloud AWS domain
• In case the incident is repeated, log the incident as a problem ticket and the resolution of an incident requires change, initiate the change management process
• Review of the patch management details with respect to System and database. To check on the latest update patch and same need to implement of test database and then production database after getting approval of CRF form as per the SOW
• Ensure that the database(s) created and change requests on databases as per latest OSG guidelines and Week end Extended / On call support during any emergency / Scheduled Activity / Business requirements
• UNIX, Linux and Windows Operating systems SQL Shell scripting Knowledge

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Any Graduation or B.E or any Equivalent Degree
• Experience: 10+ Years of Technical Hands-On
