Role Summary & Role Description The Tableau Developer Officer will design and develop multiple solutions within Bionics. This individual will be required to have a proven track record of delivery of technically advanced solutions in support of multiple, simultaneous initiatives within Bionics which span multiple disciplines and business lines. In addition, the individual will act as the lead and escalation point for the offshore IT Risk team and project, working to resolve and/or escalate as needed to remove barriers and keep deliveries on track. The Tableau Developer Officer should have the ability to quickly get a solid understanding of existing and future State Street business, application and infrastructure environment and be able to investigate and apply new methods of data analysis and visualizations. What you will be responsible for As a Tableau Developer, Officer, you will Contribute to the design and development of complex visualization and analysis projects. Determine the initial visualization requirements, including developing technical workflow diagrams and Tableau wireframes and interactive Proofs-of-Concept (PoC\'s). This includes choosing the right metrics to ensure each metric contributes to the objective of the analysis, and selecting the most appropriate type of visual mapping to optimize deriving actionable insights. Ensure clear and concise expression of decisions to peers, development, Product Owner, and business teams. Proactively ensure minimum delays in systems deliverables. Provide subject matter expertise on analysis and visual representations to foster analytical insights. Leverages industry best practices shares the same with team. Configure and maintain multi data source connections in Tableau across a variety of data sources including, but not limited to, SQL, Oracle, Hadoop, Tableau Server, BOX. Consult with business unit management as needed to analyze requirements, asking probing questions to ensure the real needs are identified, communicated and understood. Education & Preferred Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field plus 4 years of related experience. 2+ years of proven experience creating solutions using Tableau v2020 or higher, with at least 1 year in the financial services sector, ideally in a risk management related role. Tableau Server experience including server setup and maintenance is a plus. Experience and ability to query and acquire data with SQL in an RDBMS (Oracle) and big data (Hadoop) environment.
