Web research team is a one stop shop for all the research needs to enrich and enhance buyside data. We are a group of highly adaptable team members that have years of experience in secondary research. Using the latest web scrapping tools and processes as well as by combining traditional secondary research, we\'re able to maximize our data coverage and quality of our dataset. To help us enrich and enhance the dataset even further, we\'re searching for an experienced data analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in all aspects of secondary research with strong understanding of investment management. Additionally, you should be committed to continuous learning as well as transforming data into insights and insights into business decisions.

Roles & Responsibilities include:
1. Responsible for researching, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data on buy side companies
2. To maintain and improve data quality
3. Should have complete knowledge as well as adhere to all the workflows, data privacy and compliance guidelines
4. Perform POCs as per process requirements
5. Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills
6. Addressing escalations, inquiries, and exception requests
7. Understanding the deadlines of each project and proactively support the manager in delivering the projects on time.
8. Implement best practices
9. Identify and drive process improvements
10. Is responsible to perform quality checks of the team members to support DI team during capacity crunch
11. Is responsible to perform regular quality checks of the new hires to regulate and maintain data quality of the projects
12. Should be able to create standard and ad-hoc reports
13. Should demonstrate the ability to use both qualitative and quantitative research and analysis methodologies to synthesize information, review data inputs and provide analytic insights
14. Capable at coaching less-experienced team members to improve their skills in research and analysis

Requirements and Skills:

1. Bachelor\'s Degree/MBA specialized in Finance or relevant work experience
2. The individual should possess excellent communications skills as this role demands to work multiple team projects
3. High level of initiative with strong propensity to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
4. 2-3 years\' experience in capital market research.
5. Enjoys a fast-paced work environment
6. Ability to work in a team environment
7. Strong attention to detail
8. Basic understanding of Agile/Kanban
9. Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
10. Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility in thought and action
11. Assume accountability for individual projects and team\'s overall success
12. Ability to work with minimal supervision and exhaust all resources before contacting the team lead.
13. Should be good in excel
