In this role, you will: Spend 40% of your time providing local leadership to the Grid team members based in India and 60% of your time remaining technically hands on. Provide support and guidance to the team ensuring the agreed service levels and project deliverables are met with the expected level of quality. Become an expert in Tibco DataSynapse GridServer and will contribute towards the wider team roadmap by delivering across a range of technical projects and subjects. Actively participate in continuously improving the team efficiency by analysing of repetitive (often manual) day-to-day repetitive tasks and processes, in order to drive initiatives on automation Demonstrate technical expertise in the respective support domain and contribute to successful delivery of services or projects by providing technical guidance to the India based team members Support and develop the people within your team on their career journey whilst ensuring this aligns to the needs of the wider team. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Have strong technical and business facing analytical skills Proven delivery of support services in an enterprise environment providing a managed service to diverse customers Be able to demonstrate strong communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills in an enterprise environment. Experience of managing large distributed infrastructure Proven ability of pro-actively building working relationships with supported business teams, underpinning technical and support areas and external vendors Experience with Service Management including metrics collection and processing, supporting management reporting (Daily, Weekly, Monthly & Special Requirements) Availability for shift pattern covering non-standard working hours as well as taking part in a rota for out of hours and weekend cover.
