:We are seeking a highly motivated Data Steward to join our team to support ourpharmaceutical customer. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity,quality, and usability of client organization\'s data assets, specifically within the life sciencesdomain. This is a business-facing role requires a deep understanding of technical aspectsrelated to data management and the Data Steward will work independently with minimalsupervision and must possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate withvarious stakeholders.Responsibilities:\xef\x82\xb7 Independently manage and oversee the organization\'s data assets to ensure accuracy,completeness, and consistency.\xef\x82\xb7 Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements,challenges, and objectives.\xef\x82\xb7 Develop and implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures to improvedata governance and compliance within the company.\xef\x82\xb7 Conduct data profiling and analysis specific to pharmaceutical data to identify dataquality issues and recommend corrective actions.\xef\x82\xb7 Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to translate businessrequirements into technical specifications.\xef\x82\xb7 Monitor data flows and processes to identify areas for improvement andoptimization.\xef\x82\xb7 Provide training and support to business users on data management best practicesand tools.\xef\x82\xb7 Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in data management andgovernance within the life sciences domain.\xef\x82\xb7 Participate in cross-functional teams and projects to drive data-related initiativesforward within the pharmaceutical context.\xef\x82\xb7 Maintain documentation related to data policies, procedures, and standards withinthe pharmaceutical industry.Requirements:\xef\x82\xb7 Proven experience (5-10 years) as a Data Steward or similar role in a business-facing capacity.\xef\x82\xb7 Strong understanding of business processes and workflows, with the ability to aligndata management initiatives with industry-specific objectives\xef\x82\xb7 Familiarity with data governance frameworks, data quality concepts, and datamanagement tools within the pharmaceutical context.\xef\x82\xb7 Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicatetechnical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, andmanage time effectively.\xef\x82\xb7 Proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools for data profiling and qualityassessment.\xef\x82\xb7 Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail within the pharmaceutical orlife sciences domain.\xef\x82\xb7 Exposure to data management tools like Reltio and Collibra is considered anadvantage.
