Data Integrity & Reporting Specialist
Our client is the leading Canadian proptech company, and we're looking for Data Integrity & Reporting Specialist, to join our Corporate team! You will work with some of client's most fundamental and exciting data, and use that data to help drive company-wide initiatives. You will cleanse data sets, and use your penchant for analytical thinking to build metrics and scalable data pipelines, dashboards, and reports to inform the business.
The role focuses on establishing a robust company-wide Data governance and Quality capability to support all lines of Business and Corporate functions to enable transparency and trust in our data, support ease of access, and mitigate data risk.
To be successful in the role, you need a blend of technical and business knowledge augmented by strong communication skills. This is a full-time remote role and you would be working Eastern Time (potentially shift start would be 4:30 PM IST) on weekdays.
What you will be doing:
Data Quality Management
? Verify that data shows accurate information and is consistent across the dataset
? Remove duplicates and inconsistencies from the databases while standardizing data
formats and correcting errors
? Design and implement data validation and verification procedures to ensure data
accuracy and reliability
? Perform data quality assessments and implement data cleansing and enrichment
processes
? Create and maintain databases, data dictionaries, and data models for efficient data
storage and retrieval
? Streamline data entry and migration processes
? Maintain data audit trail and records
? Balance workload between business-as-usual and project-related activities
Data Visualization and Reporting
? Extract and manipulate data, perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and generate insights that inform business decisions
? Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations for data-driven decision-making
? Internal and external reporting requirements for various stakeholders
? Financial and statistical presentation of data
? Prepare, track and present daily, monthly, and annual reports that visualize key performance metrics and trends to stakeholders
? Quantify and analyze data and models to support business cases and forecasting
? Create compelling visualizations using tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Google Data
Studio, Power BI, and Tableau to communicate insights effectively
? Support with ad-hoc corporate and other admin requests as needed
Data Governance & Stakeholder Collaboration
? Analyze data management systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate solutions
? Build and disseminate effective communication and training materials using diverse channels/approaches to elevate Data Governance knowledge in the organization and drive the adoption of processes and tools
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and develop data collection and storage processes
? Provide technical support and expertise to end-users regarding data management tools and systems
? Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data management and recommend innovative approaches to improve data management processes
What you bring:
? 2+ years of previous experience working with data sets including Data Sourcing and Data Cleansing, as well as compiling internal and external reporting
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Commerce, Finance, Economics, or equivalent combination of education and experience
? Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites: Excel and Google Sheets (advanced, Vlookups, pivot tables and charts, macros, etc.), Word, and PowerPoint.
? Advanced knowledge using a range of data transformation and modelling tools, for example: SQL, Power Query, and VBA - to build, and debug.
? Hands-on Power BI and Google Data Studio visualization experience with the ability to create reports and dashboards to present to executives
? Proficiency in Python
? Experience using the Hubspot CRM platform is considered an asset
? Strong statistical knowledge so you can take large sets of numbers, see the patterns and
trends, and explain them in a way that makes sense to others
? Analytical mindset and problem-solving approach to identify trends within the data and
reports
? Ability to work independently and Initiative to delve deeper into data if/when unexpected results are uncovered
? Proven ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects with great attention to detail
? Fluent spoken and written English language is essential
? Comfortable collaborating across functions to identify data analytics problems and
execute solutions with technical rigour and data-driven insights
? Experience handling and maintaining confidential and highly sensitive material with tact
and discretion

Salary: Rs 50,000 to Rs 75,000 per month
