Wiser is currently looking for a Data Specialist to join our eCommerce team. In this role, you will work in a team environment alongside other data-focused coworkers and Project Managers to ensure the effective and accurate execution of deliverables and tasks for the Operations Department of Wiser.

The data Specialist will oversee facilitating back-end support and customer care, conducting content & data analysis and optimization, distributing enforcement notices determined by the client\xe2\x80\x99s policies, and displaying data in a way that meets the client\xe2\x80\x99s desires. This position requires robust analytical abilities and a creative approach to problem-solving coupled with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Wiser\xe2\x80\x99s proprietary software to capture and organize data.
• Search the internet search engines to collect data, identify keywords of the required information, and identify and determine correct data linkages between pre-determined product lists and the database.
• Check the accuracy of data by comparing datasets to various websites; this requires attention to detail and accurate logging of information.
• Documents information in format defined by Wiser; ability to maintain and organize all required information.
• Acts as the subject matter expert and analyzes production reports. Includes account design and product classification, search and navigation filters, sourcing and SKU attribute building, product content enrichment, product list updates, etc.
• In-depth understanding of all the leading eCommerce platforms; training provided.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Graduate (BCA, BBA, BSc, or equivalent), preferably in computer science or business
• 2+ years of working experience in internet research is an advantage.
• Strong ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• Strong knowledge of Internet and computer application skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel
• Ability to learn new applications and tools offered on the internet and apply them for finding data.
• A sound knowledge of internet search engines, databases and how to optimize the search.
• Ready to work in shifts and on holidays as required.
• Knowledge of SQL or VBA is a Plus.
