SUMMARYWe are looking for a passionate and driven Data Analyst to join our vibrant team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to contribute to our data-driven decision-making processes The Data Analyst will collaborate closely with our Product team to analyze large datasets, derive insights, create dashboards during data collection, and support the deployment of AI solutions on visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.Location - DelhiABOUT US -Wadhwani AI is a nonprofit institute building and deploying applied AI solutions to solve critical issues in public health, agriculture, education, and urban development in underserved communities in the global south. We collaborate with governments, social sector organizations, academic and research institutions, and domain experts to identify real-world problems, and develop practical AI solutions to tackle these issues with the aim of making a substantial positive impact.We have over 30+ AI projects supported by leading philanthropies such as Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, USAID and Google.org. With a team of over 200 professionals, our expertise encompasses AI/ML research and innovation, software engineering, domain knowledge, design and user research.In the Press:SoleCultures page of Wadhwani AI -ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe consultant will lead the project's data management and analytics activities.Extract data from data platforms (databases), track, analyze, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & operational status.Ensure data accuracy and reliability through cleaning and preprocessing as well as regular feedback to field teams for addressing data quality issues.Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.Support the deployment of AI-driven solutions on visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with diverse projects and initiatives.Perform ad-hoc analyses to address specific business inquiries and provide recommendations.Update and manage databases and data collection systems.Aid in formulating and executing data-driven strategies and solutions for key project outcomes.Coordinate and conduct the project-related activities including analysis and report writing along with the study team.Ability to manage large datasets and databases, including experience with SQL or NoSQL databases for efficient data extraction and management.Understanding of data privacy and security standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices when handling sensitive data.REQUIREMENTSEssential Qualification:Professionals having proven competency and success in their area of work should possess postgraduate degree in relevant subjects.ORBachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, or Computer Science.Essential Experiences:Minimum 2 years experience with proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python or RDesirable skills:Proficiency and experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Strong critical thinking, a data-driven approach, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Proficient in Python for data analysis, enabling the automation of data tasks, development of models, and implementation of advanced analytical techniques.Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and their applications, contributing to efficient data processing, problem-solving, and optimization of analytical models.We are committed to promoting diversity and the principle of equal employment opportunity for all our employees and encourage qualified candidates to apply irrespective of religion or belief, ethnic or social background, gender, gender identity, and disability.
