As a Data Science Lead, you will play a crucial role in building and deploying end-to-end Data Science applications to drive insights and innovation in our telecom business.Job Location \xe2\x80\x93 Bangalore.Role contextAs a Data Science Lead, you will be responsible for the development of data models and data analysis, by leveraging your experience in data science and machine learning, to support the delivery of timely, relevant, accurate and actionable intelligence. This individual will apply proven industry and technology experience as well as communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to issues related to design, development, and deployment of mission-critical systems with a focus on quality application development and delivery.Key Responsibilities
This is how you will bring the purpose of your role to life:\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and define data science objectives.\xc2\xb7 Design, develop, and deploy scalable data engineering and data science solutions to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.\xc2\xb7 Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyse large datasets, perform predictive modelling, and generate actionable insights.\xc2\xb7 Develop data pipelines and workflows to enable efficient data processing, feature engineering, and model training.\xc2\xb7 Implement best practices for data governance, data quality, and data security.\xc2\xb7 Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.\xc2\xb7 Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise mannerWho we\'re looking for.\xc2\xb7 Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Scala\xc2\xb7 Strong Experience with data manipulation, transformation, and analysis using SQL and/or NoSQL databases.\xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of end-to-end machine learning lifecycle and best practices.\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in machine learning techniques, including regression, classification, clustering, and recommendation systems.\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworks\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Power BI to effectively communicate insights.\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of MLOps frameworks and ML architecture\xc2\xb7 Strong experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of distributed systems and parallel computing\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with data engineering principles, including data modelling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing.\xc2\xb7 Experience with version control systems, such as Git.\xc2\xb7 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail\xc2\xb7 Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.\xc2\xb7 Degree level IT qualifications in Software or Systems Engineering.\xc2\xb7 Minimum experience 8+ years in ML engineering, data science, or a similar roleCall to actionIf you\'re excited about the opportunity to be part of a team, committed to delivering amazing experiences to our customers \xe2\x80\x93 this could be the role for you!We\xe2\x80\x99re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce in all its forms.
