Analyst - Data Security Quality Assurance - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

Summary:

A QA (Quality Assurance) Analyst ensures that software products meet quality standards and user requirements before release. They design and execute test plans, identify and document defects, and collaborate with teams to resolve issues. QA Analysts use various testing methods, including manual and automated tests, to validate functionality, performance, and security. Their goal is to deliver a reliable, bug-free product that meets customer expectations and improves user experience. Key skills include attention to detail, analytical thinking, communication, and familiarity with testing tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and document comprehensive test cases based on user stories, covering both positive and negative scenarios, and include test data setup/configuration and expected outcomes.
• Execute test cases efficiently and document findings using Jira Zephyr Test cases.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to develop and execute automated tests, enhancing testing efficiency and coverage.
• Troubleshoot issues in automated test scenarios across different systems, ensuring robustness and reliability.
• Contribute to the creation and upkeep of all QA-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to enhance reporting mechanisms and process improvements.
• Perform failure analysis, conduct routine checks, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Create and maintain detailed knowledge documents that outline testing procedures and workflows, promoting best practices.
• Assist in educating the team on support processes and procedures and facilitate effective knowledge transfer.

Technical Skills:

• Skilled in creating clear and accurate test cases, test scripts, and test results will be added advantage.
• Committed to continuous improvement through experimenting with new test automation tools, processes, and methodologies.

Domain Knowledge:

• Understanding of cybersecurity/information security principles.
• Quick learner, able to swiftly adapt to new work environments.





Required Education, Qualifications, and Experience Settings:


Bachelor's Degree:

• Preferred Fields: Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Location: Hyderabad/Mumbai

Shift time : 10AM to 7.00PM IST

The team
Our IT & Systems team works behind the scenes, but is essential to the Deloitte organization. Our forward-thinking team members have the analytical skills needed to parse mountains of data and stellar communications skills needed to present research, discovery, and recommendations in a logical and easily understandable way. Our technologists provide IT infrastructure support and work with clients to develop custom enterprise applications. In addition, the team develops and maintains solutions built on varied technologies like Siebel, PeopleSoft Microsoft technologies and Lotus Notes. The setup has various groups which provide effective solutions to the customers by following a streamlined system development methodology and comprises of groups like Usability, Application Architecture, Development and Quality Assurance and Performance.
