Job Description
Data Scientist - Analytics Domain (Manufacturing)
Location: Chennai
Desired Candidate: Graduate from IIT/IIIT/NIT/College of Guindy Anna University/BITS Pilani or other Tier 1 colleges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to enhance products through data-driven insights.
• Utilize statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning to extract insights from various datasets.
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to improve decision-making processes.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and AI to recommend best practices.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders through clear visualizations and reports.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or Operational Research.
• 3+ years of experience as a data analyst, business analyst, junior data scientist, or similar role.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong communication skills for articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong mathematical skills (Linear Algebra, Statistics, Calculus).
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with data analysis and machine learning libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience in formulating and solving optimization problems using Python (preferred).
• Ability to mentor junior data scientists.
