Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth analysis of functional requirements for machine learning or image/video analytics systems in safety and security applications.
• Gather and evaluate data related to safety and security needs, including potential threats and scenarios.
• Collaborate with end-users to understand their perspectives and expectations, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models for various safety and security applications, including:
• Anomaly Detection: Detect anomalous behavior or events in surveillance footage, sensor data, or network traffic for potential security threats or safety hazards.
• Predictive Maintenance: Predict equipment failures in critical infrastructure (surveillance cameras, access control systems, fire detection) to prevent safety risks or security breaches.
• Behavioral Analysis: Analyze patterns in crowd dynamics, pedestrian movement, or vehicle traffic to identify suspicious activities or abnormal behavior that may pose security threats or safety concerns.
• Natural Disaster Prediction: Develop models to forecast natural disasters and their impact on safety and security infrastructure to enable proactive mitigation and emergency response.
• Cybersecurity Threat Detection: Analyze network traffic, system logs, and user behavior to identify cybersecurity threats (malware, unauthorized access attempts, data breaches) and safeguard sensitive information.
• Biometric Identification: Implement biometric recognition systems (facial recognition, fingerprint identification, iris scanning) for access control and authentication to enhance security.
• Sentiment Analysis: Analyze social media, online forums, and public sentiment data to monitor public perception, detect potential threats, and assess the effectiveness of safety and security measures.
• Emergency Response Optimization: Utilize optimization algorithms and predictive analytics to optimize emergency response strategies, resource allocation, and evacuation routes for efficient crisis management.
• Fraud Detection: Develop models to detect fraudulent activities (identity theft, financial fraud, cyberattacks) by analyzing patterns in transaction data, user behavior, or network activity.
• Smart Surveillance: Integrate advanced video analytics and image processing techniques (object detection, tracking, recognition) into surveillance systems for enhanced situational awareness, automated threat detection, and real-time decision-making.
• Evaluate and monitor the performance of machine learning models, making adjustments as necessary.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate machine learning models into safety and security systems.
• Document technical specifications, algorithms, and development processes.
