• Utilize statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to analyse large datasets and derive actionable insights. Also, design, develop, and deploy data-driven applications, from data collection and preprocessing to model building, deployment, and visualization.

Assists with initial data collection and understands which analysis techniques appropriate and which tools are necessary for data exploration. Develops a foundational understanding of methodology and standard statistical options to analyse and organize data as required. * Transforms problems into analysis plans for data telemetry, metrics, predictive modelling, machine learning algorithms, and statistical models to solve complex problems. Implement model deployment strategies (e.g., web APIs or microservices) to enable real-time predictions or integration with existing systems.Work across engineering and product teams to enable metrics for product success. Understands modelling techniques used within the team, then run model tools n prepared data sets.xe2x80xa2 Create and implement code for a product, service, or feature reusing code as applicable. Supports identification of dependencies, and the development of design documents for a product feature with oversight
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, gather insights, and translate business problems into data science solutions.
Continuous improvement and research: Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and software development. Research and experiment with new tools, frameworks, and approaches to enhance data science capabilities.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field or related 5+ experience.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, Java, or similar.
Strong working experience with cloud-based technologies such as Azure (AWS or Google Cloud).
Proficiency in frontend development technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) for data visualization.
Experience with machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data analysis.
Knowledge of SQL and database systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.b Description Responsibilities
Deploying web applications to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Having knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes will be added advantage
Experience working within financial/fintech sectors
