We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our algorithmic trading team at ATS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and backtesting trading strategies. This role involves working closely with our quantitative researchers and developers to create and optimize trading algorithms.

Key Responsibilities

- •Data Analysis and Modeling •: Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies. Develop and implement statistical models to support algorithmic trading strategies.

- •Backtesting •: Design and conduct thorough backtests of trading strategies to evaluate their historical performance. Optimize strategies based on backtest results.

- •Algorithm Development •: Collaborate with quantitative researchers and developers to create and refine trading algorithms.

- •Research and Development •: Stay updated with the latest research and developments in the fields of data science, machine learning, and finance. Apply new techniques and methodologies to improve existing strategies.

- •Performance Monitoring •: Monitor and analyze the performance of trading algorithms in real-time. Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

- •Risk Management •: Develop and implement risk management models to ensure the robustness and stability of trading strategies.

- •Documentation and Reporting •: Maintain comprehensive documentation of models, strategies, and research findings. Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

- •Education •: Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.

- •Experience •: Proven experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in the finance or trading industry.

- •Technical Skills•:

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.

- Strong knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.

- Experience with backtesting frameworks and tools.

- Familiarity with data visualization tools and libraries.

- Understanding of financial markets and trading concepts.

- •Analytical Skills•: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.

- •Communication Skills•: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

### •Preferred Qualifications •

- Experience with algorithmic trading platforms and tools.

- Knowledge of SQL and experience with database management.

- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.

- Experience with big data technologies and frameworks.
