Team Overview Operational Analytics team within Capital Markets of the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), deliver and support several analytics and data science capabilities including: Delivery of Business Intelligence via provision of dashboards, visualisations, and ad-hoc data analysis tools Development of algorithms and machine learning models to improve our understanding and prediction of operational issues and opportunities in Business Service Delivery encompassing technology and process. Analytics / Data Science consultative service - partnering with operational and business colleagues to understand business needs and recommend/trial data driven solutions and approaches. The team works in an Agile manner to prioritise and deliver value at pace whilst maintaining focus on longer term strategic initiatives and technical capabilities to enable continuous improvement of our service offering. Responsibilities : Identify useful data sources and automate collection processes. Undertake pre-processing of structured and unstructured data. Delivery of dashboards, visualisations and ad-hoc data analysis tools Maintain, optimize existing reports to keep up with additional or changing requirements of the business. Collaborate with Business Architecture, Technology teams Requirements : Proven experience as a Business Intelligence/Reporting professional Strong understanding of Python programming concepts and best practices and Solid SQL skills Extensive experience in business intelligence tools such as Power BI Working knowledge of any Cloud computing environment Strong Business acumen and Analytical skills Excellent Problem-solving skills.
