Job Summary:

As a Data Scientist at our company, you will apply machine learning and advanced analytics techniques to solve complex problems in the retail industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets from various retail sources to uncover actionable insights and trends.
• Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models to solve key business problems in the retail industry (e.g., demand forecasting, customer segmentation, sales optimization).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product managers, software engineers, business stakeholders) to design and implement data-driven solutions.
• Build and maintain APIs to integrate machine learning models into production systems for real-time data analysis.
• Continuously improve model performance and accuracy through experimentation and data feedback loops.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in data science, AI, and retail analytics, and apply them to enhance business outcomes.
• Ensure that data science solutions are scalable, reliable, and optimized for performance.
• Communicate complex data insights and model results to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a focus on machine learning, AI, and analytics.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL, or other relevant programming languages.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Expertise in the retail domain is highly desirable (e.g., understanding of consumer behavior, inventory management, and sales forecasting).
• Experience in developing and integrating APIs for machine learning models.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for model deployment and scaling.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A passion for staying ahead of trends in AI, data science, and the retail industry.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or AI.
• Prior experience in the retail industry is a plus but not required.
