Job Description

The Data Science Trainer is responsible for creating, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive training programs in data science. This includes teaching the principles of data analysis, machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization. The trainer will help students acquire the skills needed to succeed in the data science field and prepare them for relevant certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development:
• Design, update, and maintain training materials, curriculum, and manuals that reflect the latest industry standards and practices in data science.
• Develop lesson plans that cover key data science topics such as data cleaning, data visualization, statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and programming in languages like Python and R.
• Instruction and Training:
• Conduct classroom and online training sessions, workshops, and seminars for aspiring and practicing data scientists.
• Provide hands-on training using real-world datasets and case studies to ensure practical understanding and application of data science concepts.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and tools to accommodate different learning styles and levels of experience.
• Assessment and Evaluation:
• Create and administer tests, quizzes, and practical assessments to evaluate trainees' understanding and proficiency in data science.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help trainees improve their skills.
• Track and report on trainees' progress and performance.
• Certification Preparation:
• Prepare trainees for data science certification exams such as Certified Data Scientist (CDS), Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, and other relevant certifications.
• Stay updated on certification requirements and ensure training programs align with these standards.
• Industry Knowledge and Tools:
• Stay current with developments in data science, including new tools, techniques, and industry trends.
• Ensure training programs incorporate the latest tools and technologies used in the data science field (e.g., Jupyter Notebooks, TensorFlow, Hadoop).
• Support and Mentorship:
• Provide ongoing support and mentorship to trainees, helping them navigate challenges and build confidence in their data science skills.
• Offer career advice and guidance to help trainees achieve their professional goals.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with industry professionals, academic institutions, and other stakeholders to understand training needs and tailor programs accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with trainees, colleagues, and management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?12,668.42 - ?30,000.00 per month
