Its an opportunity to be part of something special.About The RoleThis is a global role reporting into the Data Quality Management Lead in the Data Office. This is a highly visible role which will involve working with a broad range of stakeholder across the organisation to improve and maintain the quality of our data to enable our business.The role will work closely with the Data Governance, Master Data, Information Management, 3rd party service provider and Visualization CoE teams, as well as business stakeholders to ensure effective and consistent Data Quality Management.The role will be hands-on, working to define and manage data quality through activities such as data profiling, data analysis, data quality rules definition and the ongoing management of data quality reports.We are currently re-imagining our Data Quality journey to leverage the latest approaches and technologies so this is an opportunity to be part of a really exciting journey.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform data profiling activities and analyse outcomes to share with identified stakeholdersSuggest and create data quality rules to be agreed with business stakeholders, usually Data Owners or Data Stewards.Manage Data Quality reports in production/BAU, working with 3rd party service provider as required to oversee delivery, resolve issues with reports and associated DQ rules along with the implementation of small changes.Contribute to the Information Catalogue from a DQ perspective to ensure that all DQ rules are correctly recorded and up to date.Manage 3rd Party Service Provider resources to produce and maintain Data Quality reports.Support the Data Quality Management Lead to realise the DQ framework, communicating out to involved parties on best practice and knowledge sharing.Essential
Qualifications and skills7+ years of previous experience of data quality management in a large organization, being familiar with working within a data quality framework to perform activities such as data profiling, data analysis, data quality rule definition and data quality reporting.Able to analyse data profiling outputs to define/suggest DQ rules. It will also need to oversee resolution of any issues with data quality reports in BAU, working closely with 3rd party service provider.Able to work with business stakeholders, with support from more senior team members as required.Previous experience of overseeing DQ reporting operations to resolve issues and make small changes.Able to communicate effectively with non-technical users.PreferredKnowledge of PowerBI and SQL would be considered beneficial.Experience of working with Data Quality tools, Ataccama experience (preferred).Experience working with Microsoft Azure, Databricks.Experience of working with 3rd party service providers.Care to join us.
