Team InformationAs the Data Operations Lead within the Data Management & Governance team at Tradeweb team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organizations broader data strategy. This role will oversee data operations across customer and reference data sets, providing guidance to Senior Data Researchers, and ensuring data quality, consistency, and alignment to corporate governance policies. The Data Operations Lead will be instrumental in driving data initiatives that support business operations across departments, including Sales, Finance, and Trading, helping to maintain data uniformity and accuracy across the organization. By assisting with data onboarding, quality checks, and reconciliation, you will directly supply to the success of data-related projects. This role is important in ensuring that data supports the companys operational efficiency, compliance, and decision-making processes.Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in training Senior Data Researchers and other relevant team members to ensure they are equipped to handle complex data operations, including customer and security master data.
  • Collaborate with key collaborators across departments (Sales, Trading, Finance, etc.) to align data operations with broader business needs and strategies.
  • Supervise and assist Senior Data Researchers working on both customer and reference data, providing guidance, training, and support on complex data management issues.
  • Support broader organizational data initiatives by ensuring that data inputs and outputs meet business requirements and align with company-wide data governance standards.
  • Provide domain expertise in customer and reference data to assist teams across the organization in solving data-related challenges.
  • Define and track critical metrics related to data quality, consistency, and timeliness across datasets supporting critical business functions such as trading, sales, and compliance.
  • Establish data quality frameworks and workflows to ensure data accuracy and uniformity across systems, aligning with corporate data governance policies.
  • Conduct regular reviews of data outputs and performance metrics, collaborating with team members and broader departments to resolve data issues.
  • Find opportunities to enhance data management processes, increasing efficiency and improving accuracy. Lead initiatives to integrate new data sources and automate data management workflows.
  • Ensure that all processes align with corporate data governance policies and security standards, supporting the organization's goals of operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with a preference for a postgraduate degree (preferably MBA Finance) or Bachelor's degree with significant relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in data management, preferably within a financial services or fintech environment, with a focus on customer or reference data.
  • Experienced Excel skills (pivot tables, logical and lookup functions, etc.).
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and effectively with various collaborators and departments across the organization.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of financial markets data, coupled with analytical and problem-solving skills to distill large amounts of information into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, with a high degree of attention to detail and demonstrated decision-making ability.
  • Ability to influence others and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating self-motivation and results orientation.
