Senior Data Modeler \xe2\x80\x93 Professional

Management level/Role: Senior Associate

Experience: 5 - 8.5 Years

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of extensive experience in Data Modeling and the implementation of relational and dimensional database schemas utilizing one of the industry leading tools like ER/Studio, Erwin Data Modeler, Oracle SQL Developer, Toad Data Modeler etc. Strong build experience in large-scale relational database platforms such as Oracle, Exadata, MS SQL Server, Oracle Cloud Databases. etc.
• Strong experience in designing dimensional data modeling schemas star and snowflake and various types of facts and dimensions to build Data Marts & EDW systems.
• Strong understanding in data ingestion, Change Data Capture, Master Data Management and Metadata Management, Strong experience in SQL and SQL procedures for data analysis, validation, reporting and manipulation, coding, and performance tuning.
• Experience working with various data formats such as XML, JSON etc.
• Experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance Modules AP, GL, AR Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle cloud offerings.
• Analysis through scripting in one or more of the following: Python, SAS, R or UNIX shell

Preferred Technical Skills

Knowledge on Data Governance, Data Management & Data Engineering

Experience in Data integration tools like Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Informatica etc. Experience in Business Intelligence/ Reporting tools such as OBIEE, MicroStrategy, Business Objects etc.

Experience in Data Visualization/ Dashboarding tools Tableau, QlikView, Power BI etc.

Experience in data modeling design patterns for various use cases such as canonical model, data vault modeling, non-relational data, Cloud etc., is a plus.

Experience in any Data Cataloging and Metadata tool such as Collibra, Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog, Oracle Enterprise Metadata Management etc., is a plus.
