:Job Summary:The Data Management Lead will improve data quality and consistency and support program data governance requirements via documentation and publication of accurate metadata for data elements, contributing to greater understanding of the data element and its fitness for use. The Data Management Lead acts as the guardian and decision maker for specific data elements, and is responsible for understanding metadata, usage, standards and quality for specific data elements. In this role, the Data Management Lead is expected to contribute significantly to the strategic direction on the evolution of the Data Steward Role, expand the scope of metadata across the data life cycle, and influence key partners such as Data Owners, Product Owners, Technology, Architects, and Data Risk Leads to deliver robust metadata controls. The Data Management Lead will engage in data modernization efforts, both in describing our data and movement of data to the Cloud, work across Data Governance Products such as CCB Glossary, CCB Catalog, Registration Services and the Cloud Lake, and provide direction on product capabilities to support operational and partner needs. This role will lead and mentor a group of associates while receiving direction and oversight from Data Management Director.Job Responsibilities:

  • Support CCB Data Management\'s efforts in gathering, reviewing, editing as needed, and publishing metadata at scale
  • Understand, disseminate and adopt all applicable data policies, standards and processes.
  • Engage with subject matter experts (SMEs) within the business to develop/enhance knowledge and understanding of the line of business processes, systems of record and authoritative sources and their usage.
  • Partner with Data Governance Product and Technology to drive and deliver enhancements to governance toolsets for more efficient collection, review and management of metadata on large volumes of data elements
  • Partner with Data Owners in support of migration efforts from legacy databases to Cloud solutions, and ensure governance is well-represented in planning and execution
  • Contribute to development of new tools and processes to allow for more efficient collection, review and management of metadata on large volumes of data elements
  • Partner with the Data Quality teams to ensure effective end-to-end governance of data is achieved
  • Design and implement reporting and tracking to ensure transparency in operations and identification of risk
  • Provide management and oversight to team of Data Steward Associates, working closely, and taking direction from, Data Management Director.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a business, technology, or analytics discipline or related equivalent work experience. Master\'s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a major financial services organization
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in any of the following disciplines. Data usage, Process Analysis, Process Improvement, Technology Development/Support.
  • Understanding of the CCB businesses, including operational processes.
  • Experience working with the data systems supporting the various Sub-LOBs, including experience writing queries and analyzing related queries.
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to understand business and technical functions, process information quickly and assess impacts to data elements. Knowledge of Alteryx is a plus.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills.
  • Advanced MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
  • Ability to interpret and apply standards and guidelines to large quantities of data elements in a fast-paced, highly efficient manner with high quality
  • Highly organized, keeping up with the ever changing environment. Examples include new and improved tools and methodologies to capture and process metadata.
Minimal direction required. The Data Management Lead is expected to be a self-starter who challenges the status quo and who can independently manage high volumes of data element metadata work while balancing large strategic initiatives.About Us: J.P.
