A Software Engineer is curious and self-driven to build and maintain multi-terabyte operational marketing databases and integrate them with cloud technologies. Our databases typically house millions of individuals and billions of transactions and interact with various web services and cloud-based platforms. Once hired, the qualified candidate will be immersed in the development and maintenance of multiple database solutions to meet global client business objectives:Key responsibilities:Have 2 xe2x80x93 4 yrs expWill work in close Supervision of Tech Leads/ Lead DevsShould able to understand detailed design with minimal explanation.Individual Contributor.Resource will able to perform mid to complex level tasks with minimal supervision. Senior team members will peer review assigned tasks.Build and configure our Marketing Database/Data environment platform by integrating feeds as per detailed design/transformation logic.Good knowledge of Unix scripting &/or PythonMust have strong knowledge in SQLGood understanding of ETL (Talend, Informatica, Datastage, Ab Initio etc) as well as database skills (Oracle, SQL server, Teradata, Vertica, redshift, Snowflake, Big query, Azure DW etc).Fair understanding of relational databases, stored procs etc.Experience in Cloud computing (one or more of AWS, Azure, GCP) will be plus.Less supervision & guidance from senior resources will be required.Location: PuneBrand: MerkleTime Type: Full timeContract Type: Permanent
