What you will be responsible for Set up securities like Fixed income, Mortgages, equities (IPO, warrants, rights), Derivatives (Swaps, Options and Futures), Cash instruments etc. which are traded in the Market. Work on Pricing for different type of assets and make sure those are under tolerance Security maintenance of existing securities in the Aladdin database (equities and Fixed income) Validating the securities which are breaching the day over day tolerance limit against the Bloomberg (Equity) or IDC (fixed income). Taking responsibility for data quality, accuracy, completeness and timeliness. Cross confirming the data updated in products in case of any discrepancies with data vendors (Bloomberg, Reuters, IDC) Seeing through there is no customer impact and business impact by doing necessary check and quality Audit. Monitoring emails and provide timely response/resolution for queries. Processing and reviewing of various Client Position File. Study and implementation of various processes, documentation, process improvements and provide ideas to the management Adhere to audit controls and quality checks within the process. Ensure Accrued interest and coupon payment in paycheck matches vendor. Ensure that the queries from various internal functions are addressed by fixing the setup issues Acquiring clear understanding on the business model and work with teams like Trade/Portfolio Administration, Reconciliations etc. Commit to the implementation and execution of daily data validation processes and quality controls Collaborate with various internal business units and information technology teams in order to streamline and optimize existing and new business workflow and processes globally Capture business requirements for the integration and improvement of new and existing processes Seek managerial feedback and bring up issues in a timely manner to achieve risk excellence Identify process efficiencies during their daily work and propose to line managers Education & Preferred Qualifications MBA Finance/Bachelor\'s degree required. Advanced degrees are an asset. 4-6 years\' experience in the investment management industry, preferably in investment operations. Ideal candidate would have strong expertise in Security Maintenance/Reconciliations/Performance Management/Trade Admin/Port. Admin/Market Data Share responsibility with lead for accurate and timely responses for resolving inquiries Deep understanding of Equity, Fixed Income and Derivatives asset types is key Working knowledge of Bloomberg, IDC, Reuters Knowledge on ALADDIN database would be preferre Excellent communication and collaborative skills required Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Access, VBA and SQL will be considered strong assets Ability to work under pressure. Detail oriented and task driven. Ability to problem solve quickly and efficiently Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple responsibilities to meet internal and external deadlines. Ability to network and build strong working relationships. Shift: 3PM to 12AM IST. Need to be flexible to work with APAC and US stakeholders About State Street What we do.
