You\xe2\x80\x99ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.As a part of our Payroll team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll help PwC manage and administer timely, accurate, and efficient processing of our payroll operations. Additional Responsibilities:PwC\xe2\x80\x99s Controller Operations is a dynamic, agile, and innovative Finance organization that is focused on the fiscal integrity of the U.S. member firm\xe2\x80\x99s financial performance. The Finance Operations team is responsible for creating alignment across the business functions, generating data driven, value added operational insights across Controller Operations. The team collaborates with its stakeholders to develop process opportunities and analytical solutions to influence key business decisions supporting Firm strategy.Minimum Experience Required: 4-7 years
Education Requirements - Any Graduate or Post GraduatePreferred Knowledge/Skills:The Finance Master Data Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate and consistent financial information within an organization\'s systems. This role involves managing financial master data, ensuring data integrity, and supporting various finance-related processes. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality financial data that serves as a foundation for critical business decisions.Responsibilities/Qualifications:
  • Create, update, and maintain financial master data records, including but not limited to chart of accounts, cost centers, profit centers, product codes, and general ledger accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entries by performing regular reviews.
  • Identify and rectify any discrepancies or inconsistencies in financial master data.
  • Enforce data governance policies and procedures to maintain data quality and consistency across various financial systems.
  • Complete internal audit control processes and steps to rectify findings.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of requests.
  • Work closely with IT to ensure accurate and synchronized financial data
  • Maintain the DM tool tables and aging requests timely.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline data management processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and implement tools to improve data accuracy and reduce manual efforts.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data management processes and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and data relationships.
  • Proficiency in using financial and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Alteryx.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
