Your Job

Own the admin right for Teamcenter -CCS(Especially for workflow and revision control) and help PDE to ensure that work flows are properly created, routed and released in CCS and support the team incase of any concern. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and validity of data among Product drawing,Team center and SAP by Cross check and make sure the integrity of the data

What You Will Do

1.Responsible for advising/correcting workflows in CCS whenever issues is seen/observed(as created by PDE\'s)

2. Responsible to correct/adjust revisions of documensts in Teamcenter to support PDE workflow(based on the request from PDE)

3. Responsible to verify that all the items released in Team center are with the intended revision (Check if the intended revisions of child components are available and the FG carries the intended revisions)

4. Responsible to verify the integrity between Team center BOM and Drawing(Product design drawing) BOM.

5. Make sure all documents like PDM,PDD,PSD,PS,TS and AS are available and linked properly to the part number in Teamcenter and same should appear in MDS

6. Responsible for data integrity of all NPI/MOD\'s and the legacy data which has MM & PDM linkage.

7. Responsible to bring in the new methodology or process to ease out the product engineer work Ex: Best practices for creating and routing the work flows

8. Responsible to guide the New/Fresh Engineers to follow the correct method in creating series number, building the correct structure and filling all mandatory fields, which helps in getting correct EBOM in SAP.

9. Responsible to co-ordinate with Plants, Global Engineering services and Engineering groups or any appropriate teams to reslove the work flow/BOM issues/any other integrity issues as encontered.

10. Follow PDP process. Work collaboratively with Product Engineers, supervisors, PM\'s, other engineering groups manufacturing plants, application tooling group and Lab.

11. Responsible for understanding and working towards meeting product Engineering and product management requirements.

12. Understand, aim and achieve organization / department /self goals.

13. Show value creation, productivity improvement and continual improvements.

14. Responsible for self planning of work based on organizational priorities by closely working with supervisor.

15. Imbibe quality in every action / work performed.

16.Apply MBM in day today work.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

B.E (Graduate in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering/Electrical Engineering/as optional)
Min 5 years total experience and min 2-3 years on data integrity admin role (i.e. in Teamcenter)

What Will Put You Ahead

1. Excellent skills in Teamcenter and SAP. Good Knowledge on Teamcenter part structure, work flows and BOM\'s

2. Good understanding of Engineering fundamentals. Able to read and interpret Engineering drawings, Part structure and Bill of material

3. Good understanding of product development process

4. Flexible and ready for change based on organization need.

5. Basic knowledge of connector design and manufacturing processes

6. Strong oral and written communication

7. Confident and capable of handling conference calls.

8. Self driven and quick learner.

9. Good analytical thinking and problem solving skills

10. Understanding of NX or any other parametric CAD tools would be benificial.

Working knowledge in creating part structure in teamcenter and understanding the linkage between parametric CAD (priority is NX)Teamcenter and SAP
Knowledge on connector design, development and manufacturing process is preferable
