Key Responsibilities: As a Data Ingestion Team Leader at NIBR Informatics in Hyderabad, you will: Build & serve the team as an inspirational leader and nurture a collaborative team environment Be responsible for the successful ingestion of external data sets ensuring their integrity, accuracy, accessibility, and quality to strengthen data analytics and machine learning activities Contribute to developing and implementing data lifecycle strategies and data governance practices for external data sets Work closely with scientists and with informatics team leads and colleagues from data lifecycle management, ontology & curation, data modelling, and from engineering to ensure new high value data sets are FAIR enough to satisfy the respective use case Combine your passion for good data practices with your technical expertise and with a comprehension of data-centric principles to contribute to our overall drug discovery objectives and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: We are committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve. Minimum Requirements Essential Requirements: Master\'s degree or 7+ years of experience in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field Proven experience in a leading data management role in life science, preferably in a fast-paced and data-intensive environment Proficiency in data ingestion techniques, data lifecycle management, and data governance Proven people leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders locally & globally Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with emerging trends and advancements in data management A passion for developing team members supporting their growth Why Novartis: Our purpose is to reimagine medicine to improve and extend people\'s lives and our vision is to become the most valued and trusted medicines company in the world.
