Role Summary & Role Description:Chief Data Office (CDO) - Global Technology Solutions at State Street has a mandate to deliver robust Data Governance Platform across the firm, including tracking and reporting adoption of data governance policies and regulatory requirements on the platform. CDO is rolling out multiple initiatives and operating model changes to execute these initiatives and generate value for our internal and external clients.We are looking for an experienced and dynamic data governance technology leader to drive the growth charter for our CDO organizationAs Data Governance Platforms IT Lead, you will:

• Provide technical leadership to data governance platform buildout, involving Collibra Data Intelligence Catalog, Data Quality, Data Privacy, Data Entitlement implementations.
• Work collaboratively with other IT functions like Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, Network Infrastructure and Platforms etc. to design and deliver cohesive and efficient solution delivery
• Work with technology partners like Collibra to understand product architectures, integration requirements and design implementation approach for State Street requirements
• Create and manage delivery roadmaps, risks and dependencies, track progress and remove hurdles to achieve OKRs and milestones. Communicate effectively and provide updates, inputs and thought leadership to CDO leadership
• Focus on talent management and retention; coach, mentor, and guide team members to create an engaged and growth-oriented team, including third party resources and consultants

• Solution Design and Delivery experience on Data Governance platforms (Collibra, Information Governance Catalog, Data Quality tools, data Privacy and Classification tools etc. )
• Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering data health measurement and reporting solutions using cloud-based data engineering solutions (AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake), Tableau/PowerBI, following agile methodology in global operating environments
• Clear understanding of dependencies and support requirements from various IT functions
• Excellent communication and articulation skills, proven Stakeholder Management and strong executive presence
• Fair understanding of Finance and Investment Management Industry, including Regulatory and Compliance requirements that apply to data management and operations

Good to have skills

• Exposure on regulatory compliance like BCBS239, ICCR
