Business Overview: The Securities Services business provides critical post-trade services by leveraging Citi\'s local and global presence to deliver a market leading platform. We have the largest proprietary sub-custody network in the industry and provide a wide array of financial solutions for clients including: securities clearance and safekeeping via our global custody network, fund accounting and administration, and middle office outsourcing. Our business lines include Custody, Global Fund Services, Execution Services and Issuer Services. We have a long history of shaping and accelerating the process of change in the securities markets\' infrastructure, actively participating in key working groups and industry committees in each market in which we are present. Over recent years, Citi\'s SS business has focused on leading more innovative utilities and services, bringing a number to market, with examples of more disruptive utilities and the support of digital assets and digitization. Within the SS business, there is a newly formed group dedicated to forwarding the innovation agenda under data and digital, with the expectation of building out the platform and services to facilitate and enable clients in the future operating environment. Purpose: The Data Governance Analyst will be responsible for translating the business, platform and applications strategy and capabilities into a market leading client engagement strategy to deliver measurable benefits to clients. Maintain data quality for specific areas within the business and be responsible for quality, timeliness and delivery of end results for these areas. They will keep abreast of developments within the domain expertise of data management and governance in order to contribute to the overall Citi Data Governance Organization (CDGO) strategy. The Data Governance Analyst will ensure stakeholders support and an execution roadmap to deliver on the strategic services, working alongside Technology and Operations and domain Product owners to fulfill. Principal Accountabilities: Lead analysis and efforts with the governance team to define policy and procedures designed to provide oversight and governance of the CDMP policy across Securities Services working closely with CDGO (Chief Data Governance Office) Establish best practice methods to track and measure progress against data management standards such as data domains, data elements, data issues, working closely with data transformation leads Communicate requirements with Senior members of the Securities Services organization, drive discussions and influence adoption of data standards, working closely with data transformation teams across multiple disciplines Drive project management capabilities to ensure implementation of new data policy standards, including aligning CDMP specific roles supporting Securities Services. Ensure Data Quality and Data Inventory capture, centralization and remediation governance. Support the DGO (Data Governance Office) through detailed analysis, reporting, and tracking of policy initiatives across functions, transformation program leads, and other governance responsibilities. Participate in regular reviews, including progress towards compliance of data elements, data domains, data quality issues, scorecard metrics and other data requirements in conjunction with Data Governance Professionals and other data roles. Participate in regular update to Business Risk, Compliance and Control Meeting (BRCC) Awareness of and work towards closure of key regulatory commitments, in conjunction with CDGO and Internal Audit provide regular updates to senior data management committees Work with DGO analysts to develop new KPIs and Metrics to track overall health of data management compliance, leveraging best practices Support annual reviews and assessment across Securities Services disciplines Acts as a change agent and collaborator, partnering with LOBs, Global Functions, and CDO team to establish enterprise wide data governance programs. Processes mapping, modeling, and line of business policies and practices. Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
