LEPRA Society is a pan-India health and development organization working for the people affected by Leprosy and other neglected diseases to transform their lives and overcome poverty, discrimination and disability. LEPRA endeavors to diagnose, facilitate treatment to those affected and help them to rehabilitate into the mainstream of the society. LEPRA works in collaborations with the Government and other funding agencies to reach into most inaccessible villages of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh states.
The LEPRA -Mayurbhanj Referral Centre project is working in close collaboration with district NLEP Unit. The project will contribute to the overall objective of the organization by Active case finding, Disability care, develop linkages for Social security schemes & entitlements and prevention of disabilities there by reducing transmission and promoting wellbeing of people affected by leprosy and lymphatic filariasis. Women & children would be a priority in all activities.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Qualifications: Degree from a Reputed University with computer course and knowledge on data entry
Experience: Minimum 1 year working Experience with NGOs, CSOs working in Health sector
Primary Requisite: Good Communication skills in English ; Computer Knowledge ; Data digitalization
Language Requirements: Odiya, English and Hindi
Project Period: Till March 2025 (Likely to be renewable)
Roles and responsibilities
• Data Collection from FC/PTs ; Data digitalization and Data Consolidation under the Project
• Documenting and timely reporting of the Project Reports, Case stories, Most Significant Changes in the Project
• Take up M&E Reviews and provide feedback to the Project Officer
• Development of Communication Materials on IPC
• Conducting and Capturing Focus Group Discussions in the CSOs
• Visits to the RC/SRCs for data validation
• Any other tasks, assigned by the Immediate Supervisor
Remuneration: Rs.15,000-Rs.18,000/- Per month (Based on Experience)
