Job Title: Data Entry Operator

Job Summary: The Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into computer systems, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring timely updates and management of records. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent typing skills, and proficiency in data management software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Entry: Inputting data into spreadsheets, databases, and other systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
• Data Verification: Reviewing and verifying data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Data Updates: Maintaining and updating records regularly to ensure up-to-date information.
• Database Maintenance: Organizing and managing digital files, ensuring that data is easily accessible and well-maintained.
• Document Management: Scanning, filing, and categorizing documents as required for record-keeping and compliance purposes.
• Reporting: Assisting in generating reports or summaries from the data entered into systems, as needed.
• Error Detection: Identifying and correcting discrepancies in data entries or database records.
• Data Security: Ensuring the confidentiality and security of sensitive information while handling and processing data.
• Collaboration: Working closely with other departments or teams to ensure data requirements and quality standards are met.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or similar clerical position.
• Strong typing skills with high accuracy (typically 40-60 words per minute).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
• Proficient in data entry software, Microsoft Excel, or other data management tools.
• Familiarity with office management systems and databases.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of basic office procedures and data management systems.
• Experience with data cleaning and data validation processes.
• Previous experience in administrative or clerical roles.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position, typically 40 hours per week.
• Work can be performed in an office setting or remotely, depending on company policies.
• May require occasional overtime to meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,526.79 - ?50,345.39 per month
