: Data Entry Operator (Project Department)
Position Overview:
The Data Entry Operator for the Project Department will be responsible for maintaining accurate
records, processing data efficiently, and supporting the department's administrative needs. This role
requires attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Entry & Management:
? Insert customer and account data by inputting text-based and numerical information
from source documents within specified time limits.
? Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information to prepare source data for computer
entry.
? Maintain and update daily and weekly project details, including labor allotment, site
working status, and other project records.
? Handle contractor bill entry and job card entry in Excel.
2. Documentation & Reporting:
? Generate reports such as measurement sheets, testing reports, and handover/takeover
documents.
? Update Zoho Attendance by validating with the employee list and ensuring accuracy of
in/out times.
? Validate expenses and maintain records of advances, salaries, and monthly project-
related expenses.
3. Research & Accuracy:
? Conduct research to obtain missing information and verify document accuracy.
? Identify and report any discrepancies or inconsistencies in project data.
? Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records and ensure that all documents are
properly filed and archived.
4. Communication & Follow-Up:
? Document and update weekly meeting records and discussions.
? Send emails addressing project issues and client communications.
? Assist in keeping project teams informed by maintaining clear communication channels.
5. Support Tasks:
? Scan, file, and organize site-specific records.
? Monitor office supplies and ensure that required materials are readily available.
? Assist with additional clerical duties such as scanning, printing, and filing project
documentation.
6. Requirements and Skills:
? Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator (0-2 years preferred).
? Familiarity with spreadsheets, MS Office (Word, Excel, Advance Excel), and basic
understanding of Tally or other compatible software.
? Fast typing skills and attention to detail.
? Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
? Good command of English (written and verbal) with strong customer service skills.
? Sense of ownership in work performance and its impact on the company's success.
? Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage time effectively.
Additional Tasks:
? Monitor and validate expenses, maintain salary records, and update advances.
? Ensure accurate communication of project issues and updates with clients.
? Keep detailed, organized records and assist with project-specific documentation and filing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?13,500.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
