Education & Professional Qualifications:
The minimum educational qualification required for the position is graduation. Candidates must have a certificate in computer application and typing. Candidates must be proficient in typing English, Hindi and Assamese.
Experience:
The candidate should have minimum two (2) years of experience as a data entry operator
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
• Knowledge of computer applications
• Knowledge of typing in English, Hindi and Assamese
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work accurately with numerical and textual data
• Ability to write 50 or above WPM
• Should maintain confidentiality
• Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Entering data from source documents within the given period of time
• Compiling, sorting, and verifying the accuracy of data before it is entered
• Monitoring and recording received data and source documents
• Creating reports and generating data sets as per the need
• Responding to data inquiries from departments
• Perform regular data backups to prevent data loss
• Typing and printing of question papers and other official documents
• Complete additional assigned tasks as required
