Job Overview: Ummeed is working on a project in Wardha and Yavatmal, which involves training Community Workers working with children and their families, in 5 Blocks of Yavatmal district. This is a 3 year project. We are seeking a Data Entry cum Monitoring & Analysis resource (on a Consultant basis) to oversee the data collection processes being followed by the Community workers, ensure the quality and integrity of data, and perform regular data entry tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, well-versed in Excel, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection:
• Collaborate with various departments/ people to ensure accurate and timely data acquisition.
• Monitor data collection process and methodologies being used on field.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies and issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation on procedures (written in English expected).
• Train staff/ community workers/ supervisors on data collection and entry.
• Data Entry:
• Perform regular data entry and ensure data is up-to-date and accurate.
• Maintain databases (in Excel) and ensure data integrity.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with IT, operations, and other departments to align data-related activities.
• Work with field-personnel, Ummeed team and local Organisation which is a partner of Ummeed
• Provide support and guidance to team members regarding data-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree or Diploma ( in Commerce, Science, Data Science, or a related field).
• Proven experience as a Data Entry and/or Montitoring/Evaluation Analyst or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Excel
• Familiarity in other data collection or analysis tools and softwares is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to train field-team and community workers in the data-collection tools and data reporting processes
• Proficiency in Marathi and Hindi (spoken and written) is required
• Well versed in English (written and oral)
• Willingness to travel with identified 5 blocks of Yavatmal and to Sevagram (Wardha)

Work timings:5 days a week Mon-Friday, 9am to 5pm (or similar 8 hours per day as required by the Field-Teams)Other Benefits:Accident Insurance through Ummeed @5 lakhs per annum &Fixed Telephone Allowance at Rs. 300/- per month or as and when recharged
