We are currently seeking a Data Engineer-Hadoop & Snowflake to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).
- 6+ years of experience in
- Technology with 5 years in developing and deploying data solutions
- Extensive experience with SQL (DML & DDL), Stored Procedures, Indexes, user defined functions, etc.
- Experience with data migration from Hadoop to Snowflake
- Experience building/operating highly available, distributed systems of extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets
- Experience in business intelligence development across a variety of applications (OLTP, OLAP and DSS)
- Strong understanding of data analysis concepts and associated tools such as SQL, Python, Stored Procedures, etc.
- MySQL, Snowflake (workspaces) preferred
- Proficiency with ETL methods and tools - Informatica, Talend and DataStage preferred
- Systems analysis background with an emphasis on legacy process decomposition and debugging/tuning/refactoring
- Hands on experience with AWS or GCP cloud concepts is a plus
