This vibrant technological ecosystem is a breeding ground for innovation, providing ample opportunities for professional growth and career advancement in a globally recognized company dedicated to sustainability and advanced materials technology.Your Role:In the role of Data Engineer, you will spearhead the development and optimization of data architectures and pipelines, enhancing our data-driven decision-making capabilities across the organization.You will report to: Senior Data Engineer.Key Responsibility Areas:

• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to facilitate efficient data extraction from various source systems into our Data Lake.
• Manage and optimize the configuration and alignment with central IT Departments for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading from a diverse range of data sources.
• Analyze and propose enhancements to the current architecture to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
• Design and implement analytics tools to provide actionable insights into key business metrics like customer acquisition and operational efficiency.
• Create and maintain data tools for analytics and data scientist team members, assisting in the optimization of our product and production needs.

Your Profile:

• Must possess a Graduate degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience in a Data Engineer role.
• Expertise in SQL, SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, DAX, and Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in PowerBI and familiar with programming languages such as DAX, PowerShell, Python, Java, C++.
• Desirable skills in PySpark, Python, and Azure Databricks.
• Strong analytic abilities with unstructured datasets and experience in building \'big data\' data pipelines.
• Excellent project management, technical leadership, and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English; German language will be an added advantage.
