Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining data infrastructures. As a SQL Specialist, proficiency in crafting complex SQL queries, along with programming skills in Python (Numpy and Pandas), is essential. Key Responsibilities: Design and Develop Data Infrastructures: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data infrastructures to support the organization\'s data needs. Implement data models, schemas, and architectures that align with business requirements. SQL Specialist: Demonstrate strong expertise in SQL queries, including proficiency in outer joins, aggregations, unions, window functions, and Common Table Expressions (CTEs). Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency. Programming Proficiency: Utilize Python, particularly Numpy and Pandas, for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis. Develop and maintain code for data processing and ETL tasks. ETL Experience: Apply solid ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) techniques to ensure the seamless flow of data across systems. Work with tools such as Hadoop, Hive, Pyspark, Presto, and SparkSQL for data processing and analysis. Custom Reporting and Data Visualization: Generate custom reports and presentations that effectively communicate insights derived from data. Utilize strong data visualization skills to enhance storytelling and convey complex information in a comprehensible manner. Project Requirements: 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer and worked with Product based organizations. B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science Strong knowledge and Seasoned experience with SQL Queries (strong in outer joins, aggregations, unions, window functions & CTE\'s) Design, develop, deliver and maintain data infrastructures Proficient in languages: Python (Numpy and pandas) Experience working closely with Data Analysts and provide the data they need and guide them on the issues Solid ETL experience and Hadoop/Hive/Pyspark/Presto/ SparkSQL Solid communication and articulation skills Able to handle stakeholders independently with less interventions of reporting manager. Develop strategies to solve problems in logical yet creative ways.
