As we endeavor, we are seeking a dynamic talent for the role of Data EngineerFor the Data Engineer role, we are looking for professional with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines. We intend to make data reliable, governed, secure and available for analytics within the organization. As part of a team this role will be responsible for data management with a broad range of activities like data ingestion to cloud data lakes and warehouses, quality control, metadata management and orchestration of machine learning models. We are also forward looking and plan to bring innovations like data mesh and data fabric into our ecosystem of tools and processes.Primary Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Design, develop and maintain data pipelines to extract data from a variety of sources and populate data lake and data warehouse\xc2\xb7 Develop the various data transformation rules and data modeling capabilities\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with Data Analyst, Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers to identify and transform data for ingestion, exploration, and modeling\xc2\xb7 Work with data governance team and implement data quality checks and maintain data catalogs\xc2\xb7 Use Orchestration, logging, and monitoring tools to build resilient pipelines\xc2\xb7 Use test driven development methodology when building ELT/ETL pipelines\xc2\xb7 Develop pipelines to ingest data into cloud data warehouses\xc2\xb7 Analyze data using SQL\xc2\xb7 Use serverless AWS services like Glue, Lambda, StepFunctions\xc2\xb7 Use Terraform Code to deploy on AWS\xc2\xb7 Containerize Python code using Docker\xc2\xb7 Use Git for version control and understand various branching strategies\xc2\xb7 Build pipelines to work with large datasets using PySpark\xc2\xb7 Develop proof of concepts using Jupyter Notebooks\xc2\xb7 Work as part of an agile team\xc2\xb7 Create technical documentation as neededEducation:\xc2\xb7 Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, etc.Required Experience and Skills:\xc2\xb7 5 to 8 years of relevant experience\xc2\xb7 Good experience with AWS services like S3, ECS, Fargate, Glue, StepFunctions, CloudWatch, Lambda, EMR\xc2\xb7 SQL\xc2\xb7 Proficient in Python, PySpark\xc2\xb7 Good with Git, Docker, Terraform\xc2\xb7 Ability to work in cross functional teamsPreferred Experience and Skills:\xc2\xb7 Any AWS developer or architect certification\xc2\xb7 Agile development methodologyOur Human Health Division maintains a patient first, profits later ideology.
