Job Description

The Enterprise Chief Data Office organization is part of Nokia Strategy & Technology Digital Office. We support the business with our expertise in BI and Data Engineering, by creating and maintaining Data Platforms and BI Solutions that support decision making and provide essential information for business operations. We are looking for an experienced data engineer with knowledge and experience in area of analytics to design and develop our data solutions. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data availability and quality for various business needs.



• Design, develop and implement data solutions using Cloud architecture.
• Implement and maintain scalable data pipelines for efficient ETL processes from diverse sources into analytics data platform.
• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into implementable solutions.
• Identify and discover data patterns and relationships.
• Implement and monitor security measures in Lakehouse and analytics environment.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and analysts to provide clean and reliable data.
• Fine -tune and trouble shoot data pipelines for optimal performance and cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data engineering processes and systems.


• Min 5 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer preferably with a focus on Microsoft Azure Cloud platform.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and database design principles.
• Solid knowledge of programming language such as Pyspark, SQL for data manipulation and transformation.
• Strong experience in Azure stack- Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2-Lakehouse, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with file formats like JSON, parquet, creating ADF pipelines and developing SynapseDatabricks notebooks for data processing.
• Good exposure and understanding of DevOps approach using GIT or TFS.
• Experience with Azure DevOps usage at various levels, including Boards and code maintenance and deployment.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to collaborate with Stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Experience in working in Agile environment.
Nice to Have: Expertise creating Power BI reports and dashboards with knowledge of M and DAX is a plus.
