Data Engineer - I ( Data Loading)

Roles and Responsibility:

• Creation and Maintenance of database and performing ETL activities.
• Automation of data load process using power automation (UI Path).
• Acknowledging and providing solutions for data related discrepancies to clients.
• Handling of Snowflake related activities (Access provisioning, Implemented role level policies, table refresh from servers).
• Interacting with clients for data related questions and any missing source files.
• Automation of few data ingestion process using shell,kdb,python scripts.
• Handling internal ad-hoc requests such as addition of test data, data refresh, data update, etc.
• Performing Infra related activities in Azure DevOps.
• Data ingestion process in Azure data factory.

Qualifications


Required Skill set:


Programming Languages: Python Scripting, Q, Shell Scripting.


Database Management Systems: SQL, KDB will be a Big Plus.


Software Proficiency: WinSCP, Azure Data Factory, UiPath, Task Scheduler, Snowflake.


Other Skills: Linux commands, basic database activities.
