Bullpen Talent matches the most talented contractors with top U.S. companies and brands.Our client is a leading high-growth, venture backed HR tech SaaS company looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer/Engineer based in Pune or Delhi India to join their full-stack department. Please note there will be a technical and coding portion of the interview process.You will join the core engineering team to scale up their product development towards an AI and data-driven recruiting SaaS. You will be working with top AI researchers and infrastructure gurus.Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipeline and Database/Data Lake infra using Python and Java.
• Handle data related customer requests and internal requests.
• Data ETL work for the product features using Spark, Hadoop, AWS EMR
• Develop and maintain search engine with ElasticSearch
• Give comprehensive engineering technical design and concrete documentation.
• Design and implement backend services and APIs to support product functionalities.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of services.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Collaborate proactively and effectively with product managers and designers to optimize user experience on the platform.
• Give comprehensive engineering technical design and concrete documentation.
• Establish yourself as an owner of a particular component, feature or system with expert end-to-end understanding.
• Successfully complete projects at a bigger scope while maintaining a consistent high level of collaboration and productivity.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience on a large scale and high-performance backend development experience, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Engineering related fields
• Proficiency in one of the backend programming languages such as Java, Python etc.
• Proficiency in web technology, common data structure, and common system design patterns and tools
• Proficiency in
• at least one of the Relational Database/NoSQL Databases/storage system like MySql, MongoDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Redis, etc and understand the use cases of them
• Familiar with engineering concepts related to operating systems, Networking, file-systems etc.
• Familiar with web crawler is a plus
• Familiar with tech stacks of AWS is a plus
• Be open mind and have a learning attitude
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent written and oral English communication capability
